2D Space Shooter is a fast-paced, arcade-style endless shooter where the objective is simple: survive. Players rely on quick reflexes, a rapidly depleting shield, and a laser cannon to fend off waves of enemies in a relentless space battle.
I developed the game solo over the course of a few weeks, aiming to create a lightweight, instantly playable experience. It was designed to run in-browser across desktop and mobile devices, ensuring accessibility on Mac, PC, and smartphones without requiring installation.
While the core gameplay is intentionally simple, I expanded the scope to include a main menu, original music, sound effects, and power-ups to give it a more complete and polished feel. With the exception of the visual assets and select sound effects, all elements of the game—including systems programming, design, and music composition—were created by me. I structured development around weekly milestones to stay focused and ensure consistent progress.
